What customers say?

“ 880¥ for this salmon bowl. Very good. The miso soup also had fish and other seafood inside it. Will be back ”

“ Akaboshi Medium Bottle, ¥600 Ice-cold and delicious Dewar's Highball I tried a regular-sized one in a mega mug The volume isn't much different. The mega just has more ice. I'll avoid mega-sized highballs. The flounder sashimi platter was plump and delicious. Apparently, it's freshly caught that morning. The appetizer costs about ¥390. It's tuna chunks, but it's delicious. You order using the touch panel and verbally ask the staff for the recommendations on the attached sheet. Akaboshi, Mega Highball, highball, flounder sashimi, and appetizer came to about ¥2,800. It might be a little pricey for a heavy drinker, but It was delicious. The guy tapping his chopsticks next to me was really loud. He was slowly sipping on some octopus, but every time he picked up his chopsticks, he'd say, "Tap! Tap!" His chopstick habits were so bad I tried imitating him and he left (lol). ”

“ This chain restaurant has become increasingly rare recently. It's located in front of the station and has a spacious interior. They have a wide selection of seafood, including grilled seafood. They also seem to have nigiri sushi. It's not a bad place, the staff are friendly and it's a good place, but if it's an izakaya that mainly serves fish, the atmosphere is a bit off. If it's going for a family restaurant style, the menu is lacking... I see, that's why the number of stores has decreased so much. ”

“ A little before noon on a weekday. This is my personal list of chain izakaya seafood bowls. Today, I had lunch at Sakura Suisan. Katsuya is on the first floor, and this restaurant is on the second floor. It faces the rotary, and a dazzling sign advertising a tuna cutting show is on display. lol As I entered the restaurant, feeling uneasy about being alone, I was told to sit wherever I liked, and sat down alone at a large table. A waitress brought me a paper menu, and I chose the Fisherman's Pickled Rice Bowl for 950 yen (tax included). At lunch, refills of rice and miso soup are free, so I asked for a large portion of rice. The menu had the current date written on it, so I guess the items on offer change daily. After a while, the bowl, fish bone soup, a small bowl of boiled fish bones, and pickles arrived on a tray. An egg yolk sat in the center of the bowl. White sesame seeds were sprinkled on top, and tuna and fish bones were lined up around it, with wasabi on a shiso leaf next to the bowl. Both the tuna and the mackerel were thick and plump. The mackerel was so fatty, it didn't even feel like mackerel. lol It was marinated nicely, and it was great to eat with a mashed yolk. The fish stock soup was delicious, with plenty of beaten egg and fish bones. You do have to be careful of the bones, though. Yes, I once saw a comment from a foreigner at a restaurant saying, "The miso soup was horrible because there were fish bones in it!" It was written as if the restaurant had cut corners. I hope people get to know Japanese culture before they experience Japan. The boiled fish bones were a small portion, but the sweet and spicy seasoning made a nice palate cleanser. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. 2024/02/16 ”

“ Sashimi set meal. This year, the price range has changed, and the lunch sashimi set meal starts from 1,000 yen. It comes with a small side dish and is quite filling. The staff are kind and flexible in many ways. ”

“ You can eat delicious seafood here! Sakura Suisan had an image of being cheap, but that was completely changed. It's a great place for people who want high-quality food at a reasonable price. It's spacious and clean. There's even a smoking room. ”

“ The management has changed and the policy has changed. I went in hoping to eat the 500 yen lunch with raw egg on rice, but they don't offer it. They don't even have lunch on weekends or holidays. They do have lunch on weekdays, but it starts at around 700 yen. When you enter on weekends or holidays, a 300 yen appetizer is served, so it's assumed you're having a lunch party. The appetizer sashimi is delicious, but there's no rice, so I ordered the Fisherman's Bigfin Reef Squid TKG (tamago, kake, gohan). Together with the appetizer, it came to 766 yen. I don't drink much alcohol, so I had hot tea. ”

“ It's open from the daytime and the interior is spacious and clean. The menu has also been completely revamped. The food is served quickly and is delicious, which is great. ”
